    About the client

    Pizza Day – is a one of the largest chain of take-away pizzerias with more than 130 pick-up points in 15 cities in Ukraine. The number of employees of the company is more than 800.

    Problem description

    The unique selling proposition found by the founders of Pizza Day allowed the business to rapidly grow to a regional network of 54 pick-up points. The ambitions of the company’s founders were higher and the company had the potential for further growth, but its current operating model and management system needed to be adapted to meet the challenges of a fundamentally new level of complexity. The company’s management faced with the challenge of designing and implementing a new operating model that would be able to withstand three times growth of the company without loss of control and improve the efficiency of asset utilization.

    Solution

    Our team performed an in-depth diagnosis of the company’s current operating model, identified key development areas and limitations, without which the implementation of the national expansion strategy would have been extremely difficult.

    Involving the top management of the company in co-design, we created a new operating model: a business process model, organizational structure, a system of key indicators for assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of management, profiles of necessary competencies for owners of all major business processes.

    An optimal roadmap for the implementation of the new operating model was also developed and agreed upon.

    We accompanied the PizzaDay top management team in the process of implementing the new model to the state of its sustainable operation and launched the process of its further development by means of the internal process and project offices we created.

    The company was able to continue its development and grow to 162 pick-up points / in 3 times

    The department of organizational development was created and put into operation, which continued to be engaged in continuous improvement of the operating model of the company independently
